A free workout tracker with no subscription, no ads and no account
Reps: Gym Workout Log (repsworkout.com) is a free workout tracker for iPhone and Android. No subscription, nothing behind a paywall, no ads, and no account needed to log. The one limit is the AI coach: it needs a free account and has a daily message cap.
What’s free (all of it)
- Every workout, set and rep you log, with your whole history kept.
- Your routines and plan, ready to start from the home screen.
- Records spotted as you log, plus a chart for each exercise: estimated 1RM, heaviest set or volume.
- The calendar: a whole year on one screen, with month and list views.
- 512 exercises with a demo and step-by-step instructions, in 13 languages.
- A JSON export of your workouts, routines, plans and custom exercises.
- The account and sync between phones, if you want them.
The one limit
The AI coach reads the sessions you’ve logged and writes your next routine. Each reply is written by our AI provider on a server, so the coach needs internet and a free account, and it has a daily message limit. That’s the whole catch. Logging never needs an account or a connection.
No account, no ads, nothing to pay
- Install Reps from the App Store or Google Play.
- On the first screen, choose Skip — use without account.
- Log your workout. Nothing is sent to us.
The honest catch: without an account there is no backup, so deleting the app deletes your workouts. Export a JSON copy now and then, or sign in later: the workouts you already logged move to your account with the first sync. What works with no internet at all is on the offline workout log page.
Built for the minute between sets
Track your reps and sets without typing much. Last session’s numbers are already in the row, and the same again is one tap. The rest timer counts down between sets, and if you get interrupted, the workout waits where you left it. Kilograms or pounds, light or dark.
A coach that has read your log
Ask the coach what to do next. It has read every session you’ve logged, so the routine it writes is built on your numbers, and you edit it before saving. It can also turn a photo of a paper plan into a routine. It gives general fitness information, not medical advice. You can also ask Claude or ChatGPT about your training.
iPhone and Android
Reps is on the App Store and Google Play, free on both, with the same features. Sign in with one account and your history syncs between the two. Account data is stored in the EU; the privacy policy has the details.
What Reps doesn’t do
There’s no Apple Watch app. Reps doesn’t read or write Apple Health or Health Connect, and it can’t import your history from other apps. It doesn’t track pace, heart rate, sleep or food: it is a log for strength training. The help page answers the rest.
